As a key player in our Supply Chain Spain organization, you will have the opportunity to take charge of external logistics activities in the Asturias cluster, home to Spain's major flat carbon plants. For that position we are looking for dynamic people with experience in transport Logistics, including the most important transport mains as alternatives, for any destination in the world, but also management of warehouses, contracts, suppliers, people teams, related tools, etc.

What does the job entail?

You will be at first, learning about our processes, facility’s, goals, needs, and organization under our guidance. The objective: to assume the leadership of this activity and this team, where you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Lead, motivate, communicate, and develop competences within the team
  • Continuously interact with transversal departments, internal and external suppliers and customers
  • Promote the development and implementation of new systems and tools, taking part on the digitalization process of the company
  • Assume the responsibility of cost management and results 
  • Drive progress action leadership
  • And so much more

Are you the right candidate?

  • You have a very good command of English
  • Interest in supply chain, logistic and process optimization topics
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving and dynamic organization
  • Analytical and synthesis skills
  • Knowledge of advanced tools and new technologies (statistical, big data, AI…)
  • Good interpersonal skills: Communicative, empathetic, and collaborative
  • Decision making skills
  • Preferred education: Master’s level with a technical and engineering background
