Lifting & Rigging Coordinator

This coordinator supervises all lifting activities on Site and ensures compliance with schedule, quality and HSE requirements. Specifically, he/she shall provide oversight of all lifting operations on the jobsite for the off-loading and transporting of equipment, prefabricated structures and modules to various foundations or staging areas on the jobsite. This individual shall provide input for the development of rigging/lifting plans coordinating with other disciplines supervisors from KKG and Owner’s Contractors, and:

• Advise KKG Construction Manager to ensure the most suitable solutions in terms of assembly sequences, works scheduling, constructability, feasibility, etc.
• Develop and update lifting & rigging procedures, instructions, protocols, registers and forms.
• Determine crane and riggings equipment requirements for the project, preparing reports and forecasts.
• Support Owner’s Contractors in the development of lifting and rigging plans.
• Supervise lift activities at site, monitoring and ensuring quality rigging execution and safe lifting practices.
• Ensure transport activities on Site are correctly planned and executed.
• Provide technical guidance and support to KKG logistics civil superintendents to assure heavy haul roads and routes are sufficient for the transportation of all heavy haul roads.
• Coordinating and lifting activities at site with particular attention to interfaces with other ongoing works on Site.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and implementation of lifting and rigging project policies, procedures and instructions.
• Checking the adequacy of personnel and equipment belonging to the Owner’s Contractors, promoting any actions required to achieve objectives.
• Interfacing with Circular Projects vendors, reviewing their documentation for special lifting instructions and ensure the correct implementation at site.
• Ensuring, with the support of KKG HSE Team, the field control of HSE aspects in lifting and rigging.
• Notifying KKG Construction Manager of problems and deviations that cannot be settled directly.
• Assisting KKG Construction Manager and KKG Project Manager with tasks related to Change Management.
