The Demand Supply Chain Management Department has a temporary vacancy in Santa Perpètua, Barcelona, for the following position:

Logistics Coordinator (Temporary)

Main activities and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute the logistic outbound flow of goods at the site, in coordination with the Warehouse team, Quality Control and Customer Service, and transport suppliers.
  • Book international transport through our authorized logistic partners according to customer requirements in compliance with customs and international Trade regulations.
  • Secure service levels and excellence in execution in quality and documentation right first time, minimizing costs and errors in transport booking and fulfillment.
  • Partner with Order Desk team to fulfill monthly demand volumes and prioritize dispatch of goods based on business requirements and available schedules.
  • Interact directly with internal customers and via sales with external customers to provide the right customer support and improve the customer experience.
  • You are an expert in International Trade & Logistics procedures, familiar with multimodal transport modes, Incoterms, and export and import documentation and procedures.
  • You maintain and improve relations with logistics service suppliers, supporting in the preparation of the negotiations of present and/or current contracts and agreements.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics, Demand/Supply Chain or other Supply Chain related roles.
  • Fluent proficiency in English language (written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Extensive knowledge about Incoterms and GDP is preferred.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
