Lead DevOps Engineer

Requirements:
— 8+ years in commercial software engineering
— 4+ years in the DevOps role
— Strong Linux administration skills
— Sound knowledge of various operating systems, SQL and noSQL databases, message brokers and ESBs
— Programming and troubleshooting skills at least with a couple of commonly used languages such as Go, Python, shell, Java, JavaScript, Lua, etc.
— Hands-on knowledge of the build automation tools such as Maven, Gradle, Ant, etc.
— Excellent knowledge of git and administration experience with VCS, CI/CD, and artifact management systems (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, CircleCI, Artifactory, Nexus, etc.)
— Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design
— Strong knowledge of networking, routing, network protocol stacks and security
— Practical knowledge of container management and orchestration systems, as well as the related ecosystem: Kubernetes, Kubespray, Helm, Docker Swarm, Openshift, etc.
— Hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
— Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure
— Experience in the set up of highly resilient production systems, including logging, monitoring, alerting, and security
— In-depth understanding of the DevOps philosophy and the agile software development
— Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
— Strong communication and presentation skills
— Self-driven and passionate, eager and rapid learner
— At least upper-intermediate level of English
