At Ad4Octogono we are looking for a AWS DevOps Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join our team, preferably in Madrid or Malaga.


JOB RESPONSBILITIES / ROLE


  • Taking responsibility of the software delivery by ensuring quality and scope expectations are met;
  • Developing user stories working solo or pairing with a colleague
  • Discussing functional and technical solutions with the different stakeholders in the business, UX designers, architecture, and engineering managers to ensure US are refined and understood at the correct level
  • Ensuring delivered solutions are developed under DevOps practices and latest technology trends
  • Keeping the solutions delivered running healthy in production minimising incidents and maximising quality of service
  • A software engineer who takes pride in their craftsmanship and in the results that they deliver




Requirements:

Mandatory skills


  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services.
  • Strong knowledge writing IaaC, preferably Terraform.
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Kong, GitLab, Jenkins, Github
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (eg, Docker, Kubernetes. ECS) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • AWS and DevOps certifications are Desirable but not essential.
  • ECS, ECR, EKS, EC2, Faregate, Lambdas, IAM, RDS, rational and non rational db, document management (mongo), Postgresql, MariaDB etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English


Nice to have:

  • Experience of using Architecture tools eg Avolution Abacus
  • Salesforce Architecture Certification: Admin, App Builder, Sales Consultant, Service Consultant
  • Have knowledge & experience of AWS & Cloud Architectures
  • Experience of building APIs
  • Understanding of industry reference models and approaches TOGAF, BIAN, ARCHIMATE, C4
