Opex Lead

Your role

The Site Opex Lead works on or with the SLT and is responsible for developing the strategies and capabilities to implement continuous quality and productivity improvements. This is achieved by developing and deploying Opex methodologies to achieve local improvement objectives, by leading and coaching major initiatives and developing a site-wide Opex capability applicable to associates’ everyday work.

Your profile

University degree in Engineering, Technical or Business discipline. Further training in Black Belt lean manufacturing. Fluent in English and proficient in site local language. Minimum 3 years’ experience in Opex activities in a production environment with proven experience driving change management in an organization. Strong working knowledge of lean manufacturing, applied statistics, 6 sigma and problem solving on the shop floor. Very good level of communication and coaching skills. A good understanding of the principles and methods of medicine manufacture and GMP attained in a manufacturing environment. High performing, credible professional with a track record of successfully managing major change; possesses cultural awareness and sensitivity; had exposure to continuous improvement programs. Ability to network and communicate with top management of various functions.
