The project

As a Retail Operations Intern, you will support the Retail Operations team both in daily operational tasks and in the transition to a new POS system.

What will the role entail?

  • Assist in the implementation and transition to a new POS system, ensuring smooth integration an dminimal disruption to daily operations.
  • Support the Retail Operations team in their daily operational tasks (sales transactions reconciliation, stock in transit, ,stock counts, stock adjustments...)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance and marketing to ensure project alignment and successful execution.
  • Provide training and support to store staff on the new POS system and other operational initiatives
  • Help develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new processess and systems.

Requirements:

  • Degree: Degree or equivalent in Logistics, Business Administration, Operations or similar
  • Languages: high Level of English is a must, any additional languages are a big plus
  • IT Skills: moderate understanding of Excel, ideally some experience with tools such as Asana, Figma and/or Photoshop
  • Experience in a retail store will be considered.
