A public administration is embarking on a major network refresh project, transitioning their infrastructure to Juniper MX series for enhanced routing and MPLS capabilities. This project has been awarded to a distributor with a strong background in Cisco technologies.

We are seeking a skilled Resident Engineer to support the distributor by facilitating the onboarding and upskilling of their teams from Cisco to Junos. The ideal candidate will possess advanced Juniper certifications and extensive experience with Junos, core routing, and switching.

Requirements
  • JNCIP or JNCIE certified
  • Extensive experience with Junos operating system and Cisco
  • Proven expertise in core routing and switching, particularly with Juniper MX and ACX series
  • Strong background in MPLS configuration and management
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, L2/L3 VPNs)
  • Proficiency in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting

Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
