Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ireland Ltd have an exciting opportunity within our team for a B2 Engineer based at Hangar 5, Shannon Airport. The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic team of highly skilled staff and play an essential part in safely maintaining a fleet of over 500 aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines. Ensuring that all maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Regulatory Authorities, the company MOE, Procedures and individual Personal Authorisation Certificates. Ensuring aircraft documentation is completed and certified in accordance with the MOE and company procedures. Lead assigned team and ensure that all company regulations, HR policies & procedures and safe working practices are followed by their team. Ensuring that the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to and that a safe and clean working environment is maintained, at all times. Responsible for effective utilization and improved efficiency of staff under their supervision. Carry out any other tasks as reasonably required by the Check Supervisor.

Requirements

Must hold an unrestricted EASA B2 Licence, preferably with type rating on Boeing 737-800. Previous certification privileges in a similar role desirable. Experience leading a team of Aircraft Mechanics. Be self-motivated, and able to work without direct supervision. Excellent spoken & written English is essential. Flexible approach to working in fast changing environment Strong computer literacy Willing to work shift Candidates must have unrestricted permission to work in Ireland
