Come and join theBuilding X Platform Developer Enablement Team. Building X is a scalable digitalbuilding platform to digitalize, manage and optimize building operations,allowing for enhanced user experience, increased performance, and improvedsustainability.
The DeveloperEnablement Team empowers BX developers to leverage BX Platform Core CloudServices effectively and autonomously through education, support, tools andresources, enabling them to build scalable, resilient, and efficientcloud-based solutions.
What part will youplay?
As DeveloperAdvocate/Evangelist you will promote the BX Platform, Services and APIs todevelopers through various channels such as conferences, meetups, webinars, andsocial media. You will act as liaisons between the developer community and theorganization, gathering feedback and advocating for developer needs internally.
Mainresponsibilities include:
Promotionand Outreach: Represent the organization at conferences, meetups, webinars, andother relevant events to promote the BX platform, services, and APIs. Createengaging content such as blog posts, tutorials, documentation, videos, anddemos to showcase the capabilities and benefits of the platform to developers.Utilize social media channels to share updates, announcements, and resourcesrelated to the platform and engage with the developer community. Liaisonbetween Developer Community and Organization: Act as a bridge between thedeveloper community and internal teams within the organization, includingproduct management, engineering, and marketing. Gather feedback from developersabout their experiences, needs, and challenges when using the platform,services, and APIs. Advocatefor developer needs and priorities internally to ensure that they are addressedin product development and strategy. CommunityBuilding: Build and nurture a vibrant developer community around the platformby organizing meetups, hackathons, and other community events. Facilitateonline forums, discussion groups, and social media communities where developerscan connect, share knowledge, and support each other. Feedbackand Improvement: Provide regular reports and updates to internal stakeholderson developer engagement, feedback, and trends in the developer community. Workclosely with product management and engineering teams to prioritize andadvocate for features, improvements, and bug fixes based on developer feedbackand needs. Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, anddeveloper preferences to ensure that the platform remains competitive and meetsthe evolving needs of developers.Use your skills tomove the world forward.
Experienceworking in a complex environment, working with multinational teams across theworld. Strongunderstanding of software development concepts, programming languages, webtechnologies, APIs, and developer tools. Genuine empathy for developers and astrong desire to advocate for their needs within the Building X Platform. Experiencedelivering promotional materials and organizing events (Hackathons, Lunch andLearn, etc). Comfort and experience with public speaking are important, as aDeveloper Evangelist you will often present at conferences, meetups, webinars,and other events. Openminded, people orientedand strongcommunications skills. Able to establish partnerships, collaborate withexternal organizations, and represent the organization positively in thedeveloper community. Desireto learn about state-of-the-art Technologies, Methodologies and Cloud. Agenuine passion for technology, innovation, and the developer community.
