Job Description

Join us as a Front-End Architect

We are seeking a senior profile to be part of the customer architecture team and the main target is to design the front architecture for our Client. The candidate will be supported by the rest of the architecture team but it is expected to be a highly senior profile with previous experience in similar projects (this will be checked during the interview process).

About the role

· Software architect highly experienced in the development and implementation of complex frontend architectures. At least 10 years of experience in software engineering and a proven history in big-scale and multi-language programs especially in e-commerce or in similar complex platforms. This candidate will lead the design and implementation of the new frontend architecture with the target of the optimization of user-system interaction and improvement of the scalability and performance of the applications.

Responsibilities

· Technical vision : guide the technical and strategic vision of the platform, and identify the technologies that improve the security, scalability, performance, and reliability.

· Architecture design : deliver detailed architecture diagrams that show the structure, interactions, and dependencies between the systems.

· Leadership in delivery : active participation in the delivery of the code, leading a team of software engineers, and promote best practices in design, implementation, and continuous integration

· Team collaboration : continuous joint work with UX/UI teams and other architects to create responsive and cohesive user experiences

· Optimization : ensure the optimization of the platform to get maximum scalability and visibility in search engines.

Required skills and experience

· Strong technical fundamentals:  proven experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, GraphQL, HTML, CSS, and deep understanding of XML, JSON, DOM, and W3C standards.

· Architecture patterns:  advanced knowledge in the development of different patterns and types of architectures, including monoliths, micro-frontends, SPA, SSR, BFF, static websites, Jamstack, and integration with enterprise CMS among others.

· Design and styles:  strong understanding of CSS, design principles, design systems, and creation of components libraries

· Asynchrony:  experience with handling asynchronous requests, promises, and callbacks.

· Testing:  experience with testing frameworks

· Modern frameworks:  advanced knowledge in modern frameworks like React, Angular, or similar 

· Technical leadership:  the ability to lead technical and strategic decisions, encouraging continuous improvement in the processes.
