Engineer - back End Developer

Marosa is a leading FinTech company based in Vigo, specialising in tax technology. Our mission is to simplify global VAT compliance for multinational companies through powerful and user-centric software.
You will contribute to building and maintaining the backend systems that power our core products used by multinational clients, working alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.
What You Will DoDevelop and maintain scalable backend services usingJava and Spring Boot . Work on system architecture, performance, reliability, and security.
Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, and actively participate in code reviews.
Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting in production environments.
Help improve engineering standards, tooling, and backend best practices.
What We Are Looking ForAround 3-5 years of professional experience as aBackend or Fullstack Engineer, with a clear focus on backend development.
Solid knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and common backend architecture patterns.
Understanding of scalable systems, data consistency, and performance considerations.
Interest in continuous learning and improving both individual and team performance.
Build real-world FinTech products that solve complex problems for global enterprises.
