Job : MariaDB Database Administrator (DBA) Location : Madrid or Malaga, Spain Engagement Type : Contract About the Role We are hiring a hands-on MariaDB Database Administrator to manage and optimize production database environments. The role focuses on performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining database standards within a DevOps-driven setup. Key Responsibilities Perform database diagnostics and performance tuning Continuous monitoring and proactive troubleshooting Define and maintain database standards and best practices Ensure data consistency, performance, and availability Work closely with development and DevOps teams Must-Have Skills 5+ years of strong hands-on experience with MariaDB Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes Strong production troubleshooting skills Nice-to-Have GCP experience Prior developer background (Java preferred) Exposure to PostgreSQL and MongoDB Apply Now
