Technical Delivery Lead

We are partnering with a large global aviation and technology group to hire an Engineering Delivery Manager to lead high-performing software engineering teams in a complex, product-led environment.This role is ideal for a technically strong delivery leader with a background in software engineering, DevOps and modern engineering practices, who is passionate about building healthy teams, improving delivery systems and enabling sustainable flow of value.You will act as the primary delivery accountability for one or more engineering squads, combining people leadership, delivery governance and technical credibility, while working closely with Product and Technical Leads.Key responsibilities include:Leading and developing engineering teams, coaching leaders and fostering a high-performance, psychologically safe cultureActing as the first point of escalation for delivery challenges, removing blockers quickly and pragmaticallyOwning and continuously improving the system of delivery: progress tracking, delivery metrics, forecasting and reportingEnsuring delivery alignment, governance compliance, budget and headcount controlEmbedding agile and DevSecOps best practices with minimal reporting overheadDriving data-driven delivery conversations focused on risks, hotspots and improvement opportunitiesPartnering with Product and Tech Leads to align roadmaps, OKRs and delivery plansSupporting the organisation's evolution towards a product-centric, DevSecOps agile delivery modelRequired background and skills:Strong experience as an Engineering Manager or Delivery Manager in fast-paced, product-led environmentsSolid technical background in software engineering with deep understanding of SDLC and engineering best practicesHands-on knowledge of modern engineering and DevOps tooling (Git, cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure, CI/CD, quality and security tools like SonarCloud and Snyk)Experience managing squads with direct reports and complex stakeholder environmentsStrong communication skills and ability to work across engineering, product, security and operationsThis is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping how engineering teams deliver value at scale within a major international airline and technology organization.If this aligns with your experience, feel free to reach out to start a conversation.Agap2 es una empresa que ofrece igualdad de oportunidades, por ello nos comprometemos a tratar todas las candidaturas por igual en función de sus capacidades, logros y experiencia. xohynlmPuede obtener más detalles sobre la naturaleza de esta vacante y lo que se espera de los solicitantes leyendo la información a continuación.Animamos a cualquier persona a presentar su candidatura que será tratada con igualdad de oportunidades independientemente de su raza, nacionalidad, sexo, edad, discapacidad, orientación sexual, identidad de género o cualquier otra característica.
