We are looking for a passionate Software Development Engineer to join our team in Madrid, Spain on a contract basis.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve defects reported by customers, ensuring product stability and compliance with specifications.Perform efficient debugging to maintain system integrity and performance.Create, update, and maintain technical documentation following internal standards.Conduct ongoing performance evaluations and implement software optimizations.Work closely with cross‐functional teams—Product Management, Business Analysts, QA, and Global Operations—to build high‐quality, reliable software.Collaborate effectively with team members, leveraging shared expertise and diverse backgrounds.Coordinate development activities across teams and functional areas.Mandatory Skills & ExperienceStrong understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Java programming.Hands‐on experience with cloud‐native technologies such as:DockerKubernetesMicroservices architectureFamiliarity with the full product development lifecycle, including production support.Ability to deliver high‐quality solutions in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.Proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing deliverables effectively.Strong reporting discipline regarding project status, potential risks, and relevant technical challenges.Experience in software maintenance and working within Agile Scrum teams.Why Join Us?Work in an international, collaborative environment.Opportunity to contribute to high-impact, customer-facing products.Be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and continuous learning.
