Well Performance Analysis & Optimization Conduct detailed well performance analysis using production data, pressure surveys, and decline curves to identify optimization opportunities. Develop and implement production enhancement strategies , including: Artificial lift optimization (e.g., ESP, gas lift, rod pumps). Well stimulation and workover programs (e.g., acidizing, hydraulic fracturing, matrix treatments). Flow assurance management (e.g., wax, scale, hydrate prevention). Utilize production engineering software (e.g., OLGA, PROSPER, GAP, PIPESIM ) to model and optimize well and flowline performance. 2. Flowline & Network Optimization Analyze flowline and gathering system performance , identifying bottlenecks, pressure drops, and efficiency losses . Optimize pipeline and manifold configurations to minimize energy consumption and maximize throughput. Implement integrated production system modeling to balance well and network performance. 3. Production System Design & Integration Design and evaluate production systems , including: Well completions and tubing sizing for optimal flow. Surface facility integration (e.g., separators, manifolds, metering systems). Production chemistry management (e.g., corrosion inhibition, scale control, emulsion breaking). Ensure compatibility between well performance and surface facility constraints . 4. Data Analysis & Digital Tools Leverage real-time production data, SCADA systems, and Io T sensors to monitor well and flowline performance. Develop predictive analytics and digital twins for production optimization. Implement AI/ML tools to forecast production declines and recommend interventions. 5. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., API, ISO, NORSOK ) and local/regional regulations (e.g., Spanish/EU environmental and safety laws). Maintain documentation for audits, permits, and regulatory reporting . Support HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) compliance in production operations. 6. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with reservoir engineers, geoscientists, and operations teams to align production strategies with reservoir management plans. Liaise with maintenance, integrity, and HSE teams to ensure safe and reliable operations. Represent production engineering in cross-functional meetings, technical reviews, and client presentations . 7. Continuous Improvement & Innovation Identify and implement new technologies and best practices for production optimization (e.g., smart wells, automated choke control, digital monitoring). Lead pilot projects and field trials for emerging production technologies. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for well and flowline management. 8. Reporting & Knowledge Sharing Prepare technical reports, production forecasts, and performance dashboards for management and stakeholders. Document lessons learned, case studies, and technical guidelines for knowledge sharing. Train and mentor junior engineers and operations staff on production optimization techniques.Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field . Experience: 10+ years of experience in production engineering , with a focus on well and flowline optimization . 5+ years in a senior or leadership role (e.g., Senior Production Engineer, Well Performance Engineer). Experience in oil & gas upstream operations, production optimization, or facility engineering is highly preferred. Familiarity with International/EU regulations and industry standards (e.g., API, ISO). Technical Skills: Well performance analysis (e.g., nodal analysis, decline curve analysis). Artificial lift systems (ESP, gas lift, rod pumps, PCP). Flow assurance and production chemistry (wax, scale, hydrates, corrosion). Production system modeling (PROSPER, GAP, PIPESIM, OLGA). Data analytics and digital tools (SCADA, Io T, AI/ML for production forecasting). Regulatory compliance and HSE standards in production operations. Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities . Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills . Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage complex technical projects . Languages: Fluent in English (mandatory). French or Arabic is a plus (for international projects).
