This EU-based position is critical for maintaining market access, minimizing compliance risks, and supporting innovation across key markets including the European Union, United States, and Canada. Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance & Market Access Ensure adherence to global chemical regulations such as EU REACH, US TSCA, and Canadian CEPA. Oversee import compliance for raw materials into the EU, including substance registration and dossier management. Manage export classification of finished goods using HS codes and ensure accurate trade documentation. Product Lifecycle Stewardship Provide regulatory input during product design and formulation stages. Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS), labels, and technical documentation per regional requirements. Assess and mitigate product risks related to health and environmental impact. Sustainability & Circularity Promote sustainable product design and substitution of hazardous substances. Contribute to ESG reporting and corporate sustainability objectives. Support recycling, reuse, and end-of-life strategies for products. Data & Systems Management Maintain compliance databases and digital tools, including SAP integration. Collaborate with supply chain and procurement to ensure upstream compliance. Liaise with external consultants, laboratories, and regulatory authorities. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. 5 years of experience in product stewardship, regulatory affairs, or chemical compliance. Strong knowledge of REACH, TSCA, CEPA, and global chemical regulations. Experience with HS code classification and international trade documentation. Excellent communication and project management skills. Proficiency in compliance software and data systems. Advanced English level.
