At ASTEK Iberia, we are looking for an Data Engineer, to join our partner specialized platform for job search and recruitment in Spain. Main responsibilities:Design and build data pipelines: Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data using AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, and Kinesis into Snowflake.Data modeling & architecture: Create efficient and scalable data models and schemas within Snowflake.Performance tuning & cost optimization: Optimize system performance and manage cost efficiency across AWS and Snowflake environments.Automation of data workflows: Implement automated workflows using tools like Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions, or Snowflake Tasks.Data governance & security: Ensure proper authentication, authorization, encryption, and access control through Snowflake RBAC and/or AWS IAM.Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with SBS business teams (Sales & Support), data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to understand data needs and deliver scalable solutions.Data quality ownership: Develop data quality standards, monitoring procedures, alerts, and reporting frameworks.
