If you love hands-on engineering, international travel, and being at the heart of breakthrough scientific applications—this role is for you.What You'll Be DoingAs a key member of a small, high-performing engineering team, you will:Production & AlignmentAssemble and test mechanical, optical, and electronic subsystems following engineering drawings and documentation.Align complex free-space laser systems with exceptional precision.Characterize beam performance using tools such as autocorrelators, beam profilers, spectrometers, and power meters.Service & SupportProvide technical service for installed laser systems—both remotely and on-site at customer facilities worldwide.Diagnose issues, implement repairs, and carry out scheduled maintenance.Perform root‐cause analysis and deliver robust corrective actions.Continuous ImprovementContribute to process optimization, product quality improvements, and improved manufacturing efficiency.Support procurement activities and internal workflows where needed.What We're Looking ForYou will thrive in this role if you have:A degree in Physics or Engineering (preferred).Hands-on experience with lasers or experimental optics.Strong practical skills in mechanical and electronic workshop environments.Ability to work with standard computer tools (Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.).Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.Willingness to travel internationally, including occasional weekends.Desirable: Experience with LabVIEW or similar technical programming tools.Why You'll Love This RoleWork with advanced photonics systems used in non-linear microscopy, spectroscopy, and world-class research.Join a collaborative, innovation-driven environment where your input genuinely matters.Gain international exposure through on-site installations and service trips.Play a direct role in enabling scientific breakthroughs globally.Ready to Make an Impact?If you're passionate about high‐tech engineering, love hands-on work with lasers and optics, and are excited by global travel and scientific applications—we'd love to hear from you.
