Job Title Senior Controller Reporting to CEO, Europerfil Function Finance Legal Entity Europerfil Site location Hospitalet (Barcelona) Travel required 5 % - 10% Job Purpose Created in 1987, Europerfil manufactures profiles, sandwich panels and innovative constructive solutions for metal cladding for all kind of buildings. As a specialist in metal cladding Europerfil develops and manufactures a wide range of products that forms the skin of buildings. Made in steel or other finer metals, the whole range of products has been designed in seach of the best possible appearance, the most effective solution and the most competitive reply. This range includes constructive profiles for roofs, facades, composite floors, architectural facade profiles; polyurethane and poliisocianate sandwich panels for roofs and facades, refrigeration and acoustic panels, facades architectural panels; in addition to a wide range of accessories, colour range and coatings which adjunt to each project, each atmosphere and and all surroundings. Europerfil is present in all sectors of activity, innovating to offer a wide range of products, accessories and constructive solutions for non-residential (industrial buildings, schools, social and cultural centres, refrigeration facilities, health centres, and buildings for transport and service stations), and residential buildings. Europerfil started un in a small factory located in Rubí (Barcelona). In 1992 we opened 10,000 m2 of a new facilities in Cervera (Lérida) for profile manufacture. In order to locate the firts panel line started up in 1998, we built a further 10,000m2. The second panel line opened in 2007 requires the factory to be extended by an additional 10,000m2. Today we have 30,000 m2 of productive facilities in Cervera in which the company makes constant investment to ensure that the productive means are the most advanced in the sector. Europerfil has always been characterised by its wager on innovation, its continous effort in constantly improving the quality of the materials and its service vocation, resulting in a wide range of products and constructive solutions. The experience and exhaustive control to wich all products are subject have consolidated us in the sector as a benchmark of innovation, quality, guarantee and safety. To strengther our finance team and build our succession pipeline we are looking for a Senior Controller whom is directly reporting to the CEO of Europerfil. The Position is located in Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona) or in Cervera (Lleida), Spain. As Senior Controller you start your career path in our team and can develop yourself in sucssession pipeline for group finance team or insite the company. Key Accountabilities (including perimeter of influence, network & interactions) The Senior Controller is leading a finance team of 2 employees with responsibility as a team but also personally, for the following duties and subject to develop on the tasks: Financial reporting for Europerfil with a high focus on quality & deadlines according to Group requirements Solid financial monitoring and performance management of business Contribute within the Controlling Network to provide advice and guidance to Management teams to make appropriate decisions by analysing, identifying issues, challenging KPIs from an economic point of view, and suggesting and influencing business improvement, in order to increase AMC overall profitability and cost-effectiveness while minimizing working capital Contribute to best practice benchmarking with other units in ArcelorMittal Construction, through the development of shared projects and information exchange; benchmarking with also external competition for continuous improvement is expected too credit risk follow up: Internal credit Limit follow up, Preparation of request for Credit Committee, Support to improve insurance limits , Cash management improvement: Overdue follow up (reports, follow up, challenge sales teams on this topic) Internal control: improve internal control of entity, implementation & follow up of controls implementation Reporting related to Capex, costs reporting, profitability per site, ect. sales & margin follow-up / analysis: Margin analysis & proposal of action, particular follow up of negative margin , Push action plans to improve margin reliability Analyse results per product line Close collaboration with the shared service functions in the Group with focus on accounting, tax and credit management in monthly and annual closing processes Responsible for budget, flash, forecast processes with local management as well as supporting business's strategy development Ensure timely statistic data reporting to government and Intrastat on investments, production, sales, export, import information Skills & background Education requirement • University degree (Accounting, Finance or Applied Economics), Business School or Engineer Experience & knowledge requirements • 5 years recognized experience in accounting or controlling positions, preferably in international companies (group) • Good level of leadership capabilities with proven experience in leading role • Background in complex industry (manufacturing environment) and in audit firm an asset • Capacity to manage & develop your finance team • Strong analytical skills are required • Capacity to work both with a high level of details and to take helicopter view to detect and report key performance factors and recommend action plans • Results orientation: aims to minimize time spend on mandatory tasks (timely and accurately) to finally deliver the best possible business value (low cost, high value), proactively overcome obstacles and adapt approach to achieve results • Ability to take business decisions (especially at customer credit risk level) rapidly, while preserving financial & commercial interests • Good level of teamworking skills • Knowledge in SAP is mandatory • Knowledge of BPM is a strong advantage Personal skills requirement • Self-motivated, personable and a good team player • Decision making, pragmatic and problem solver attitude • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines • Excellent communications & organisational skills • Previous experience of managing a team, with ambition and drive to grow people Language requirement • Fluent Spanish skills are mandatory, very good English level is required
