Location: Madrid, Madrid | Sector: Energy / Biomethane Mission Support the Tax and Finance departments in the execution of daily tasks related to accounting, tax, and financial analysis, ensuring compliance with regulations and accuracy of information. The main goal of the internship is the intensive learning of the company's financial and tax processes, as well as the identification and proposal of operational improvements Responsabilities Financial Analysis and Reporting (Support to the Financial Area) Learn to interpret financial reports and key metrics under the supervision of the team. Collaborate in the preparation of internal financial presentations and reports to facilitate strategic decision-making. Support the collection and review of financial data for performance analysis. Participate in the identification of good financial control practices alongside the team. Assist in tasks for the improvement of administrative and financial processes, always with a training purpose. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial projections, learning to identify deviations and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with different areas to understand the relationship between budget, costs, and strategy. Accounting and Tax (Support to the Accounting Area) Become familiar with daily accounting processes (invoicing, reconciliations, payments, etc.) by supporting the team in administrative tasks. Learn about Spanish accounting regulations and applicable tax principles in the company. Support the preparation of preliminary documents for monthly closings, including cash flows, under team guidance. Collaborate in the collection of information for tax declarations and the preparation of documentation for external advisors. Learn to review and organize tax information for periodic declarations (VAT, Corporate Tax - IS, etc.). Support the team in tasks related to tax provisions and accounting reconciliations, with a focus on learning. Participate in monitoring changes in tax and accounting regulations, identifying their possible impact on the company. Assist in the preparation of supporting documentation for requests from tax authorities, under the supervision of the manager. Collaborate in the migration or adaptation to new ERP systems, learning about their operation and usefulness in accounting and financial management Requirements Education: Business Administration and Management (ADE), Economics, or Accounting and Finance. Experience: N/A Technical Skills: Knowledge of accounting and financial analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint and Word) for report and presentation preparation. Plus: Knowledge or familiarity with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system for accounting/financial management (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage, etc.). Languages: English B2 Soft Skills: Attention to Detail and Accuracy: Ability to handle numerical data with rigor and perform review and reconciliation tasks minimizing errors. Active Learning and Proactivity: Willingness to quickly assimilate new accounting, tax, and system knowledge, taking the initiative in training tasks. Organization and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple administrative and support tasks, meeting deadlines for monthly closings and tax submissions. Teamwork and Communication: Facility to collaborate with different departments (Finance, Accounting, and other areas) and report clearly and structuredly to the supervisory team.
