We are seeking a skilled UAV Avionics & Systems Integration Engineer to join an advanced aerospace engineering team working on cutting-edge autonomous flight systems. You'll be responsible for defining, integrating, and validating avionics and systems architectures that bring complex unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to life.What You'll DoCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to conceptualise and design UAV systems including airframes, propulsion, avionics, sensors, and payloads. Develop detailed system-level architecture, wiring diagrams, and hardware specifications. Use CAD tools to create detailed designs and support structural, aerodynamic, and systems analysis. Prepare detailed assembly, integration, and testing procedures and documentation. Conduct system-level testing (functional, integration, environmental) to validate performance and safety. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards and support flight approval documentation. Communicate technical concepts and project updates effectively with team members and stakeholders. What You'll NeedBachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline (Master's preferred). Proven experience in UAV systems engineering with a focus on hardware architecture, avionics, integration, and testing. Proficiency with CAD tools (experience with Siemens NX or similar is a plus). Strong understanding of aerodynamics, avionics, propulsion, electrical systems, and signal/power distribution. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset. Fluency in English; additional language skills may be beneficial.
