You could be joining a FinTech start-up within the consulting division of the Madrid office, the company has secure backing and an established Hedge Fund client as a partner. As a Senior Technical Consultant you'll design and implement the logic behind core applications, build APIs and microservices that handle data processing, business rules and third-party integrations and oversee the configuration and upkeep of secure, reliable server environments. You'll work closely with internal teams and customers to gather detailed requirements through meetings and workshops and help shape the product vision and roadmap by offering technical insight and feasibility guidance, remaining hands-on with architecture and design. You will be a technical leader, instilling best practices, conducting code reviews, mentoring and collaboratively problem solving to help your team remove any blockers and delivery high quality software. Location: You'll join colleagues in the Madrid office on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday), working hours with some flexibility. About you: You have studied at a top 10 university in Spain (or top 200 globally) and have achieved 9.0 and above in Bachillerato and 7.0 and above in University - Computer Science or Mathematics preferred You have strong software engineering experience with Python, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, Vue.js, PostgreSQL, CI/CD, Cloud, DevOps You have advanced communication and client relationship building skills gained within a consultancy environment You have strong business acumen You're a technologist who enjoys collaborating and problem solving You have a good knowledge of modern software engineering best practices across the full software development lifecycle You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms You're excited to join a start-up in a role that you can shape and influence What's in it for you: As a Senior Technical Consultant you will earn a competitive package: Salary (to €120k, negotiable) Bonus 25 days holiday Generous pension contribution Continuous career development opportunities Social team atmosphere with a range of events and early finish for drinks on Fridays Apply now to find out more about this Senior Technical Consultant (TypeScript React) opportunity.
