Senior Full Stack Engineer – Hybrid (Malaga)Permanent | Hybrid Working (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)We're partnering with a leading global FinTech company expanding its engineering presence in Malaga. The business operates across trade finance and risk, building customer-facing platforms used by financial institutions globally. Their engineering teams are distributed across Europe and South America, offering a truly international working environment.As part of continued growth, they are looking to hire Senior Full Stack Engineers to play a key role in developing and enhancing their core platform.The RoleThis is a senior-level Full Stack position focused on building complex, customer-facing web applications. You'll work closely with other engineers and engineering leaders to design, develop, and own services end to end, contributing directly to the evolution of the platform.The role suits someone who enjoys ownership, modern technology, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced FinTech environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and improve the next iteration of the client platform's servicesCollaborate with engineers and engineering leaders to design new services and componentsTake full ownership of delivered products, including ongoing maintenanceBuild complex web applications using Python/Django, Node.js, React, and Vue.jsClearly communicate ideas and solutions in English (written and spoken)Design and maintain standard APIs and integrate external systemsEnsure services are containerised, monitored, and properly alertedMaintain high code quality with strong test coverageContribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployments using Jenkins and TerraformStay up to date with emerging technologies and best practicesEssential ExperienceStrong understanding of algorithms, software design principles, and best practicesCommercial experience as a Senior Full Stack / Senior Software EngineerProficiency with TypeScript, Vue 3, TailwindCSS, PostCSS, Webpack, Jest, Cypress, StorybookBackend experience with Python 3, Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, REST APIsStrong knowledge of Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, networking, and databasesExperience writing testable code with good unit and integration test coverageClear and confident communication in EnglishNice to HaveExperience applying AI to real-world technology solutionsFamiliarity with SQLExposure to additional languages or frameworksWhat's on OfferPermanent role based in MalagaHybrid working model (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)Competitive salaryPerformance bonus with equity opportunitiesClear career progression framework with regular reviewsAnnual paid time off plus local public holidaysTraining, certifications, and continued professional developmentInclusive, collaborative engineering culture following agile best practicesOpportunity to contribute to technical design through open discussionSupport for open-source principles and external contributionsFlexible WorkingWhile this role follows a 4 days onsite model, the company offers flexibility around working hours and understands that occasional additional home working days may be required on a case-by-case basis.Note: Client does not offer Sponsorship
