Plant Innovation & Business Development ManagerOur client: Company in the aluminum industry, with a strong reputation for quality and reliability, among the leading European (I would make it global and not European) aluminum producers.About the Role: A new role within the company, aimed at driving growth through innovation in processes and new business areas, in line with market demands.Main responsibilitiesAnalyze the current production, facilities, and equipment status of the company to assess and identify new technologies and trends applicable to the production and factory, as well as to upgrade manufacturing capabilities: pilot plants, tech transfer, process standardization.Research and analyze the market trends to stay up to date, identifying customer needs and finding new opportunities for products and services.Analyze, develop and implement strategic plans aiming to the growth targets regarding new innovative products and/or services, thus ensuring the development of advanced technical solutions that support long-term business objectives. Lead projects for the substitution of raw materials with other alternatives, maintaining or improving their properties from an embedded circular-economy approach.Create and monitor the development of new products and/or processesProfoundly cooperate with the Quality, Production, R&D, Commercial and Marketing Departments in order to discuss and commercialize the new ideas.
