Their software team plays a critical role in enabling these architectures through production-quality compiler technology, working closely with hardware and architecture teams to unlock real performance on silicon.Compiler Engineer ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and extend compiler components to support custom processor features and AI accelerationDevelop and optimise compiler frameworks including LLVM, MLIR, and GCCImplement and maintain front-end, middle-end, and backend compiler functionalityCollaborate closely with hardware, architecture, and performance teams on hardware/software co-designAnalyse compute- and AI-oriented workloads and map them efficiently onto target architecturesCompiler Engineer BackgroundBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field1–4 years of experience xohynlm in compiler development or related low-level systems softwareHands-on experience with LLVM, MLIR, GCC, or similar compiler infrastructuresStrong C++ and C programming skillsExperience with parallel or accelerator programming models (e.g. vectorisation, CUDA, OpenCL, SYCLIf this compiler position sounds of interest, please reach out to Harry Hansford @ IC Resources.
