About our CompanyRecoverTM is a leading materials science company and global producer of low-impact, high-quality recycled cotton fiber and cotton fiber blends.Our purposeWe enable large-scale sustainable change in fashion through business value & inspiration.Your role purposeThe Sustainability department at RecoverTM leads the integration of ESG strategy throughout the company's operations and value chain. It coordinates environmental and social performance tracking, stakeholder engagement, and supports business units in meeting sustainability objectives.Your responsabilitiesConduct benchmarking of sustainability initiatives by brands and competitorsResearch and map circularity and sustainability initiatives in key geographies (Vietnam, Bangladesh, Pakistan, US)Monitor regulatory developments and public policies relevant to textile sustainability in the EUAssist in preparing internal presentations or briefings based on findings Support the Head of Sustainability in project coordination and reportingWork Experience RequirementsSome previous experience in the fashion/textile sector or sustainability field is desirable but not mandatoryCompetencies requiredResearch and analytical skills – HighWritten/Oral communication in English – HighFamiliarity with ESG and sustainability frameworks – MediumProactivity and ability to manage small projects – MediumUnderstanding of global textile industry trends – MediumOther requirementsEnrolled in a Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Textile Management or similar fieldInternship must be under a valid university agreementMust be enrolled at the time of the internshipEnglish fluency required; Spanish is a plusRole of the departmentThe Sustainability department at RecoverTM leads the integration of ESG strategy throughout the company's operations and value chain.
