Trainee Coverage

Assist in the development of the FIG business in Spain & the overall Portugal business by providing front office support functions to 1) FIG Coverage and 2) Country Head Portugal, from the Madrid Office. Key responsibilities: Commercial support : Help & support FIG Iberia in the commercial relation with clients (Spanish FIs and Portuguese corporates & FIs). Pitch-book preparation; analysis of new & existing relationships (financial and business) and preparation/follow up of meetings, maintenance of Client Live (including call reports, deal reports, budget process, data integrity); maintenance of both unit's pipeline reports & budget follow-up. Assist in mapping client internal organization to help identify key decision makers for the development of business. Support in the coordination of the relationships with foreign subsidiaries (and corresponding PAMs) related to local clients, and with Senior Bankers in the context of inbound FIG or Portuguese clients. Risk management : cooperation in the annual credit review in accordance with CA-CIB internal regulations; opening and completion of credit files in Phidias; calculation of Anadefi, Eurecca, PI and RWAs; preparation of Front Office Notes & credit memos; Good understanding of sector dynamics to help in the credit process. Front Office Support : opening and monitoring of KYC processes; monitoring of ISDA / CMOF negotiations. Support in the compliance with all existing regulations (MiFID, EMIR, FATCA) as well as on new ones. Preparation and update of internal presentations. Organization and maintainment of internal database for FIG Iberia. Knowledge needed: - Financial Markets - Banking products - Computer skills - Language skills: Spanish mother tongue. English at a complete working level, additionally French Qualifications/Education required: Graduated in Business Administration or Economics Competencies required: Proactivity Drive Initiative Organizational skills Skills & Knowledge Requirements: Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
