LHH is currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Engineer to join the new 4PL Control Tower team of one of our key clients in the Logistics sector . Based in Zaragoza , this position will support the development of a high‐performance logistics structure for the European market , with a strong focus on operational excellence and cost optimization , while maintaining high standards of quality, service level, and technological leadership . We'd love to hear from you Key Responsibilities Preparation and execution of tenders , evaluation of results, and development of different scenarios Identification and implementation of cost optimization initiatives to keep the customer's network at an optimal cost level Support for customer negotiations with carriers Ongoing interaction with the customer and relevant carriers within the network Conducting business review meetings and carrier development activities Coordination with internal stakeholders Requirements and Skills University degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration / Business Studies (preferably with an international focus), ideally with a Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Procurement More than 2 years of experience in transport cost optimization Initial experience with tendering processes and related requirements is a plus Interest in working with external carriers and taking responsibility for their development Creative, solution‐oriented mindset with a strong commitment to quality Strong communication and presentation skills , with the ability to persuade and remain persistent when facing resistance Good command of day‐to‐day tools : MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and Tableau Ability to organize own workload and prioritize tasks independently Newly created role with strong development potential. xsgfvud Flexible working hours.
