Systems Administrator

Our client is a leading company operating in the iGaming sector. As part of their growth of their team in Spain they are seeking a talented System Administrator to join their team in Barcelona.Responsibilities:Maintenance of all web sites for the international group at the infrastructure level. New site creation including new sites for new jurisdictions (countries).Update and monitoring of new software versions and technologies. Install and administration of new infrastructures and existing infrastructures. Technical support/reporting during audits.Automated periodical reporting to the different gaming control entities (updating or augmenting the current automated tools).Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position Advanced knowledge of Linux environmentsExperience with virtualization technologies, particularly VMWare ESXProficient in managing web servers such as NGINX and ApacheHands-on experience with monitoring systems and toolsSkilled in database administration, specifically with MariaDBFamiliarity with version control systems including SVN and GitKnowledge of essential Linux services such as iptables, NTP, VPN, and FTPSStrong scripting abilities for automation and task optimizationCapable of documenting technical processes clearly and effectivelyGood understanding of written and spoken English as well as SpanishProven ability to prioritize and manage multiple workloads under tight deadlinesExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving skillsProfessional, patient demeanour with a proactive, can-do attitudeResiding in the Barcelona area or willing to relocateWhat will you get in return?WellbeingTraining and career development Working in an international culture
