You'll collaborate closely with our carbon intelligence team, gaining hands-on experience in ecosystem monitoring, data analysis, and carbon market research.Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze ecosystem indicators to assess the health of tropical forest projects and generate actionable insights.Project Monitoring and Evaluation: Utilize GIS tools, remote sensing technology, and relevant methodologies to support monitoring efforts for natural climate solutions and forest restoration initiatives.Market and Methodology Research: Conduct in-depth research on the Voluntary Carbon Market (trends, competitors, and Verra methodologies) to inform project design.Strategic Support and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sustainability strategies, prepare reports for stakeholders, and support efforts to measure and communicate project impacts.Advanced data analytics skills with strong attention to detail.Proficient use of Microsoft Applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel).Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).Ability to work autonomously and diligently in remote settings.Familiarity with Google Suite, amongst other remote working tools.Familiarity with GIS tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) and data analysis (e.g., Python, VBA, R).Experience with remote sensing tools (forest monitoring).Learning Opportunities: We prioritize training and mentorship to support your growth.Remote work with a focus on work-life balance.A multi-faceted and international team (40% women, 16 nationalities, significant age range), striving to increase female representation in leadership roles and valuing balanced perspectives in decision-making.While this internship requires full-time availability, we respect personal commitments and encourage healthy work-life integration.By submitting your application, you consent to the processing of your personal data for recruitment purposes, in accordance with EU data protection regulations (GDPR).
