Senior Data Scientist - €120k + bonusUp to €120,000 + bonusHybrid Working in Central MadridWe're hiring a Senior Data Scientist for a global organisation operating at the intersection of data, analytics, and AI-driven decision-making. This is a highly influential role, sitting at the forefront of data science strategy and shaping how advanced analytics and AI are applied across complex, real-world problems.You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and global engineering and product teams to deliver high-impact, data-driven solutions, including an AI-powered platform focused on risk and resilience.As Senior Data Scientist, you will:Define and execute a data science strategy aligned to product and business objectivesLead the design, development, and deployment of models and algorithms into productionAnalyse large, complex datasets to identify patterns and trends, translating insights into actionable product recommendationsCollaborate with global teams across product, engineering, and analytics to deliver high-quality, scalable solutionsEstablish and uphold best practices across data science methodologies, including data preparation, model validation, and performance monitoringStay close to industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in AI and GenAIWhat we're looking forStrong, proven experience across Data Science, with exposure to Data Engineering and/or Machine LearningAbility to operate autonomously within a global, distributed organisationSolid experience selecting and applying appropriate methodologies, technologies, and techniquesHands-on experience with data querying, manipulation, and analysis, including tools such as Pandas and NumPyNice to haveExperience working with Generative AI tools and approachesSoftware engineering or programming experience, ideally in PythonAdvanced academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent industry experienceUp to €120,000 + bonusHybrid Working in Central MadridIf you're a senior data scientist who enjoys combining strategic influence with hands-on technical depth, please apply or email wiil.semple@oliverbernard.com
