With our first fund, I've already made over 30 investments in B2B software companies that already raised close to €1 billion — you won't find much information online because, in my view, the spotlight should rightfully be on the founders and their companiesNow, I'm excited to hire two analysts for the inaugural cohort of Helloworld's Analyst Program. Since I run the firm solo, this analyst role offers a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience across every aspect of Venture Capital — from exploring and developing investment theses, to meeting and working with founders, conducting due diligence and research, supporting portfolio companies and supporting our investors (LPs). You'll take on as much responsibility and make as much impact as you wantNo prior VC experience is needed—this program is designed to set you up for success. By the end, you'll be well-positioned to join top venture firms and startups, or start your own company. RequirementsYou're genuinely passionate about startups and technology. This is a great opportunity to get paid while deepening your unique expertise at the intersection of software and its transformative impact on some specific industries.You bring 1-3 years of work experience and are excited to dive into the world of venture investing and entrepreneurship, specially in one (or both) of these themes:Software for the new Energy stack. As energy is shifting from a mostly centralised and predictable system to one that's distributed, intermittent and market-driven, that creates new complexity and software becomes essential.Software for the new AI stack. As software becomes AI-native, teams need a new generation of tools to develop in that stack (eg. build, ship, observe, secure, govern, etc.)While I warmly welcome candidates from all backgrounds who can bring fresh perspectives into investing and make an impact on our portfolio companies, some of the following experiences may give you an edge in this role:A STEM education that helps you grasp complex ideas and frameworks quickly.Hands-on experience as a "builder" in a fast-growing startup—whether as a developer, product manager, or designer.A knack for understanding human behaviours—whether through recruitment, HR, or other people-centric roles.Experience as an "ecosystem" player, such as working in an accelerator, a tech transfer center or conducting impactful research in the field of entrepreneurship.Unique insights into one of the industries undergoing digital transformation, like energy, biology, engineering, or healthcare.That said, I value curiosity (a "hacker" mindset), commitment, drive, trust and authenticity above all.
