At Emerson, we're not just offering a job - we're inviting you to shape the future of instrumentation solutions for the Chemical Industry in the Catalonia Area.Join our Iberia Measurement Solutions team as an Outside Sales Engineer, where you'll develop account plans for customers that increase their satisfaction and engagement by offering innovative instrumentation solutions to increase efficiency and profitability to their plants.If this sounds like an interesting job for you, we welcome your applicationIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Maximize face-to-face time in visits with customers to develop a deep understanding of the customer's business, needs and language and actively promote suitable products and solutions to address these needs.Constantly expand a network of contacts across the accounts, identifying the relevant stakeholders for positioning the different value messages across all product lines.Actively coordinate with colleagues and request support from subject matter experts, Industry Managers and Product Managers to create a compelling and differentiating value proposition for the selected customers.Own the bookings forecast and ensure monthly delivery of the volume committed, as well as execute immediate recovery actions if any risk is identified.Contribute and discuss with sales management the definition of sales strategies on a yearly basis based on account plans, whitespace analysis, pricing actions and performance of the assigned account portfolio.Who You Are:You are passionate about delivering real value and always act with integrity. You keep up with current and possible future policies, practices, and trends in the organization, with the competition, and in the marketplace.For This Role, You Will Need:STEM degree or comparable technical education;Demonstrated Technical and Sales experience in Instrumentation;Application knowledge in the Chemical Industry;Good communication and presentation skill both in English and local languages (Spanish and Catalan);Interest in new technologies and open mind for innovation;Comfortable with change and able to succeed in contexts of uncertainty;Good negotiation and persuasion skills;Ability to communicate with all levels of the customer's organization;Willingness to spend 50-70% of time face-to-face with the customers;Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Application knowledge in the Life Sciences Industry is desirableProducts, Industry Processes or Business Systems awarenessOur Offer to You:At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
