At papernest, Business is the heart of what we do. As the
Lead Data Analyst
for the Partnerships Team, you will act as the bridge between data and business strategy. You will lead the analytics efforts for our B2B2C - SMB business unit, driving performance for a sales force of over 150 people.

This is a high-impact role where you will combine technical expertise with strategic vision. You will enjoy a high degree of autonomy, managing a team of 2 Data Analysts while working in a modern, "supported but not micromanaged" environment.

Your Missions
You will own the data strategy for the Partnerships business unit. Your core focus areas include:

  • Strategic Business Partnering: Act as the primary data consultant for the Sales and Ops leadership. You will analyze sales force performance, help design organizational structure, and guide decision-making to improve the P&L.
  • Technical Leadership: Ensure data reliability and consistency across the pipeline (ingestion, transformation, visualization). You will build forecasting models, scoring algorithms, and automated dashboards.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 2-3 Data Analysts. Foster a culture of best practices in SQL, data modeling, and business acumen. What You'll Be Working On (Project Examples)
  • Forecasting & Planning: Building and tracking the SMB business plan for a multi-million euro budget, utilizing staffing and efficiency historicals.
  • Advanced Modeling: Developing scoring models for partners and customers, and building churn prediction models.
  • GenAI Innovation: Implementing GenAI for speech and sales analytics to uncover insights from customer interactions.
  • Data Infrastructure: Refactoring dashboards and dbt pipelines to ensure the right information reaches stakeholders at the right time.

  • Warehousing: BigQuery
  • Transformation: DBT (Data Build Tool)
  • Version Control: Git / GitHub
  • Visualization: Looker Studio
  • Machine Learning: Python, MLflow, Vertex AI
  • GenAI: Gemini & OpenAI

Your Profile

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, with a strong track record in a demanding business environment (Tech, Consulting, or high-growth Scale-up).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in complex SQL is a must. Experience with DBT is highly valued.
  • Business Sense: You don't just pull data; you understand the business implications. You have experience modeling P&L, sales performance, or operational efficiency.
  • Leadership: You have previous experience managing or mentoring junior analysts. You have strong prioritization skills and can manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Education: Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Languages: Fluent in English.

Preferred (Bonus Points)

  • Fluency in Spanish or French.
  • Experience within a large Sales, Operations, or B2B2C environment.
  • Dual background in Engineering and Business.
