DevOps Engineer

We are searching for a DevOps Engineer within the Innovation Lab. As part of our technical backbone, the DevOps Engineer ensures that our applications, AI platforms, and internal tools run smoothly, securely, and efficiently across our company. The role combines infrastructure operations with hands-on full stack development, allowing you to contribute directly to the design, deployment, and optimization of ILAB tools.

You will work on backend services, frontend interfaces, APIs, automations, and the infrastructure that supports them. This includes supporting deployments, managing CI/CD pipelines, building small internal apps, integrating AI models, and ensuring stable environments across all ILAB projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize cloud and on-prem environments used by ILAB solutions.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain automated pipelines for full stack applications and AI services.
• Full Stack Development:

1. Develop and maintain internal tools, dashboards, and automations.
2. Build lightweight front-end interfaces using frameworks such as React, or similar.
3. Develop backend logic and APIs in Python, PHP, or C++.

• API Development & Integration: Build and integrate APIs that connect ILAB tools with AI services, databases, or third-party platforms.
• AI & ML Integration: Support the deployment of machine learning models built with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras, and help integrate NLP or speech recognition pipelines.
• Automation: Create scripts and micro-services that automate processes, data flows, or system operations.
• Monitoring & Reliability: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for applications and infrastructure.
• Security & Compliance: Apply best practices for access control, secure coding, and regulatory alignment.
• Incident Support: Provide Level 2 support for DevOps and development-related issues.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain documentation in Confluence and share best practices with the team.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, and overall system reliability.

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in DevOps, full stack development, cloud operations, or software deployment.
• Strong programming skills in PHP (Laravel) and/or Python for backend development.
• Experience building front-end applications using React ) or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and micro-services.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Knowledge of NLP or speech recognition technologies is valued.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized applications.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including deploying, managing, and integrating Azure services.
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and integration concepts.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence is valued.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English (Dutch is a plus).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-evolving environment.
