Tilt Marketing provides Fractional CMO and part-time Marketing Director services, offering expertise in strategy development, team leadership, and campaign implementation to drive business growth. We work closely with executives, boards, and organizations to align marketing strategies with business objectives. Our services support building and guiding marketing and digital teams from the ground up, ensuring tailored solutions for sustainable success. Tilt Marketing is dedicated to helping clients achieve their marketing goals effectively and efficiently and is currently seeking new Fractional CMO and Fractional CRO's to manage scaling clients.

Role Overview

A client within the entertainment space requires an Interim Marketing & Sales Director to stabilize and re-align the global marketing function during a period of rapid change. The priority is to bring order, clarity, and focus across the team while guiding the CEO on future org design, capability gaps, and long-term hiring needs. This role owns short-term performance, demand generation, and digital efficiency while building the systems, processes, and reporting foundations that the incoming permanent team can scale. The focus is practical leadership, operational clean-up, and restoring confidence, alignment, and predictable commercial results.

Responsibilities

  1. Team Management

  2. Assess current team capabilities, structure, and skill gaps; deliver a blueprint for future hiring

  3. Provide hands-on leadership to reduce chaos, unblock projects, and restore operational clarity
  4. Establish rituals, workflows, and comms standards across Digital, Content, PR, Social, and Local.
  5. Coach managers on prioritisation, decision-making, and execution discipline

  6. Strategic & Commercial Guidance

  7. Build and manage a 6-month marketing and revenue plan aligned with seasonality and capacity

  8. Prioritise high-impact campaigns and channels to drive immediate revenue improvement
  9. Ensure alignment between Marketing, Digital, Sales, and Operations on targets
  10. Build simple, actionable dashboards for revenue, channel performance, and campaign ROI
  11. Establish weekly performance reviews with CEO and senior leads
  12. Translate data into clear decisions, immediate fixes, and commercial recommendations

  13. Digital & Campaign Execution

  14. Oversee all paid performance channels, holding external agencies accountable to KPIs

  15. Improve CAC, ROAS, targeting, creative testing cycles, and conversion
  16. Audit digital operations (CRM, web, analytics, tracking) and implement quick-win fixes
  17. Introduce AI-supported efficiencies for reporting, attribution, and automation
  18. Lead development and rollout of priority integrated brand campaigns
  19. Support PR, social, influencer, and content planning to ensure consistent messaging
  20. Provide HQ direction while enabling local markets to adapt and activate campaigns efficiently
  21. Core Competencies
    Specific experience in the Entertainment / Events / leisure space
  22. 10 years in marketing leadership across brand, digital, and revenue-driven roles
  23. Strong operator who brings structure, clarity, and execution discipline
  24. High analytical capability across performance data, forecasting, and attribution
  25. Skilled change manager experienced in stabilising teams and navigating uncertainty
  26. Hands-on leader with proven ability to manage agencies, budgets, and cross-functional alignment
  27. Effective communicator who mentors managers and lifts team capability
  28. Fluent English; Spanish a plus. Experience with managing remote teams.
