Role Description

This part-time remote role is for a Content & Research Editor (Retail & Consumer Markets).

You will monitor global retail news, select the most relevant updates, and produce short, clear editorial content for and our social channels. The role combines research, writing, and trend analysis - ideal for someone who actively follows global brand activity, retail concepts, and consumer trends.

You will work closely with the editor and contribute to shaping the daily content flow for our international audience.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor retail, brand, and consumer trend sources
  • Select timely and relevant industry stories
  • Write concise editorial updates (150–300 words)
  • Support content for social media (LinkedIn, X, Threads, Telegram)
  • Summarize press releases and brand announcements
  • Assist with trend research and editorial planning

Qualifications

  • Excellent English writing and editing skills
  • Experience in journalism, content writing, or research
  • Strong interest in retail, brands, and consumer markets
  • Ability to simplify complex industry topics into clear insights
  • Independent, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Familiarity with B2B communication and digital media platforms

Preferred

  • Knowledge of retail, commercial real estate, or consumer trends
  • Ability to work with simple visual tools (e.g., Canva)
