Founders' Associate with real experience in the music industry
to help scale our operations and improve the artist experience.
The Role
You will work directly with the founder to drive strategic and operational projects across the company. This is a hands-on role with high responsibility, ideal for someone who knows the music distribution ecosystem and wants to make a real impact.
What You Will Do
- Support the founder in
strategic initiatives
related to music distribution, artist acquisition, and growth - Optimize internal workflows for artist onboarding, playlist pitching, and campaign tracking
- Build and manage relationships with independent artists, labels, and curators
- Analyze data and campaign performance to improve platform efficiency and artist success
- Help design and execute go-to-market strategies for new features
- Identify problems and take ownership of solutions from start to finish
What We're Looking For
- Experience in music distribution, digital marketing, label operations, or artist management
- Strong understanding of the music streaming ecosystem (Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Autonomous, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving startup
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Passion for music and supporting independent artists
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with other music distribution platforms (DistroKid, TuneCore, UnitedMasters)
- Understanding of royalty management, licensing, and metadata
- Experience with SaaS products or subscription-based platforms
