Lead Software Engineer- Spain Remote

The Marketing Automation domain enables relevant communications for our customers by combining automated content generation, more relevant and targeted messages while improving operational efficiency. To the Vista customer, we provide personalized content across multiple marketing channels, thus enabling customer acquisition and retention. We offer self-service tooling and a platform that allows business stakeholders to create different and relevant campaigns for our customers.

What You Will Do

• Design the architecture and build the services and tools that help the marketing team bring millions of customers to our website with the help of your team.
• Design and code data pipelines backed by machine-learning APIs to fuel personalization and relevant customer messaging.
• Greatly improve campaign time-to-market via automation, working closely with product owners and key marketing stakeholders.
• Design and develop our services end to end. Each team owns the whole solution, starting with the first line of code and ending with running it in production.
• Help colleagues in the team grow by mentoring, pair programming and applying your skills and experience in collaboration.
• Work together with tech leads, engineering managers and product managers from surrounding teams on holistic solutions.
• Show your solution's resilience based on metrics.
• Work with cloud technologies on a daily basis.

• You excel at writing code and can provide guidance to other developers in programming languages like TypeScript, C#, go-lang and Python.
• You have a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms and can set and maintain the quality and testing standards in your team.
• You can help design the architecture of a solution.
• Experience with CI/CD and awareness of DevOps best practices.
• Experience with Cloud technologies and building Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience monitoring your solutions.
• You have a customer-focused mindset.
• You enjoy collaborating and pairing with other software engineers.
• You welcome feedback from your peers and act upon it.
• You are eager to learn and grow as a Software Engineer.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Nice To Have

• Experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs and queues.
• Experience with microservice-based architectures
