Postharvest Product Manager
and take the lead in building, optimizing and positioning a cutting-edge product portfolio used by our partners around the world.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of R&D, production, sales, marketing and leading research institutions ensuring our technologies meet real market needs while keeping us one step ahead through technical excellence and meaningful innovation.

This position is based at our facility in
Gava, Barcelona, Spain.

What you will do:

Product Development & Management


• Lead the development of new postharvest products from concept to market launch.


• Analyze the technical and commercial performance of current products and propose continuous improvements.


• Define and manage the product lifecycle and roadmap.


• Coordinate field and laboratory trials, validations, and testing with key customers, distributors, and research institutions.

Technical & Commercial Support


• Provide technical support to the sales team, distributors and customers.


• Respond to technical inquiries and participate in field visits, facility inspections or customer meetings. Prepare technical and commercial materials.

Training & Technical Communication


• Develop and deliver webinars, internal and external training sessions.


• Create and present technical content for events, seminars and commercial meetings.


• Generate technical materials for marketing, including articles, videos, presentations and case studies.

Market Intelligence


• Conduct studies on competitors, market trends, emerging technologies and customer needs.


• Identify new business opportunities and assess market potential for new or improved product solutions.


• Provide pricing, positioning, and differentiation analysis to support strategic decisions.

External Collaboration


• Maintain active communication with universities, research centers, advisors, and key opinion leaders.


• Manage collaborations for trials, joint projects, or scientific validation of technologies.


• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences and industry events.

Cross-Functional Coordination


• Work closely with R&D, production, quality, and marketing to ensure proper execution of product-related projects.


• Act as the "voice of the customer" internally, ensuring product development aligns with market needs.

What you bring:

  • University degree in Agricultural Engineering, Biology, Food Science & Technology or similar fields.
  • Postgraduate studies in postharvest, product innovation or business are a plus.
  • 3–5 years of experience in postharvest technologies, agri-inputs, crop protection, plant nutrition, biotechnology or related sectors.
  • Experience in customer interactions, trial management and project coordination.
  • Strong technical expertise in postharvest physiology, preservation technologies, coatings, biocontrol, etc.
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English & Spanish. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel
