Are you interested in joining a multinational company leader in the renewable energies sector?Region MED > Customer Project Execution, MED > Contract ManagementWithin the Customer Project Execution Department, this team is responsible for supporting project execution by ensuring compliance with the contractual rights and obligations established in the agreements for all projects carried out in the region.ResponsibilitiesReview and gain a thorough understanding of the subcontractors' contracts and corresponding annexes (for cranes, manpower, etc.), and prepare the necessary documentation to support the Project Manager in interpreting the associated rights and obligationsProvide contractual analysis and guidance linked to the events shared by the project teamDrafting and managing contractual notices, as well as responding to subcontractor communications and other project-related notifications, in alignment with the project's strategic objectives and business constraintsSupport in the preparation and negotiation of claims related to extensions of time and additional costsOversight of internal approval processes and preparation of required compliance documentationReporting, analyzing, and evaluating project outcomes to enhance cost efficiency and profitability across Vestas projects. Providing contractual insights to stakeholders and management, contributing to the development of strategies aimed at improving future contract clausesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Law or a similar background5 years of experience in contract management or a similar positionHigh proficiency in Spanish and fluency in English (written and spoken)CompetenciesA solid understanding of business dynamics and a keen ability to analyze dataHigh reading comprehension to quickly absorb and interpret informationEffective communication and interpersonal skillsExperienced in task prioritization and organizational skills in challenging environmentsWhat we offerWe offer an exciting opportunity, a high-caliber learning space, and pathways for career progression at a prominent wind turbine manufacturer.Additional informationThis is a hybrid role based in Madrid, Spain, with up to 10% travel required annually.We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis, therefore, early applications are encouraged.
