The
Ship Agent
is responsible for the full coordination and execution of vessel calls at assigned ports, acting as the primary liaison between the vessel, port authorities, and service providers. This role ensures that all port services are delivered efficiently, in compliance with Noatum Maritime's operational standards, and that all stakeholders are kept informed through accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsabilities

• Vessel Call Coordination: Manage all operational aspects of vessel calls, including service requests, documentation, and communication with stakeholders.
• Operational Reporting: Accurately record and report all call-related data using Noatum Maritime's internal systems, ensuring transparency and traceability
• KPI Compliance: Support the achievement of company-defined KPIs by maintaining high service standards and operational discipline.
• Onboard Attendance: Be available to attend vessels in person when required, ensuring direct communication with the ship's master and crew.
• Prefunding Management: Ensure compliance with internal procedures for fund remittances and financial documentation related to each vessel call.
• Information Accuracy & Confidentiality: Maintain the highest standards of professionalism in all communications, ensuring that information shared is accurate, relevant, and confidential.

Requisitos mínimos

• Bachelor's degree or studies in International Trade, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in Port Agency, Maritime Law, or Shipping Operations are considered a plus.
• Familiarity with port management systems and reporting tools is desirable.
• 2–3 years of experience in the maritime or shipping industry, preferably in ship attendance or port agency services.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of additional languages (e.g., French, Portuguese) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in coordinating vessel calls and port services.
• Must have a valid driving license and access to a private vehicle.
• Flexibility to work different shifts while respecting all legally mandated rest times.
• Knowledge of local port traffic, cargo types, and competitor activity to support commercial awareness.
• Ability to collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders (e.g., port authorities, customs).
