Legal Counsel

ChangeGroup (a Prosegur Cash company) is looking for a
Legal Counsel
to be based in Madrid, offering strong professional development and long-term growth opportunities within an international group.

What will be your mission?

To provide legal support to ChangeGroup, a retail FX and financial services company within Prosegur Cash, with operations in more than 15 jurisdictions, over 20 airports and 200+ branches worldwide.

This role is designed for a lawyer with strong learning drive and growth ambition, who wants to further develop professionally in an international and business-oriented environment. You will work in close collaboration with the Head of Legal of Prosegur Cash and the CEO of ChangeGroup, reporting to both, and supporting the business teams on legal matters with direct impact on the company's growth and strategy.

ChangeGroup continues to expand its international footprint and is driving a significant product transformation, offering hands-on exposure to legal, regulatory and strategic matters linked to new products and business models

What will be your main responsibilities?

General Legal Support

• Review and negotiate commercial agreements, primarily public concession agreements and lease agreements.
• Provide day-to-day legal support across a broad range of matters in multiple jurisdictions.
• Coordinate and liaise with external counsel in different countries.

Corporate Governance

• Assist with corporate governance matters, including the preparation and maintenance of board resolutions, shareholder resolutions, powers of attorney and corporate documentation across group entities.

Regulatory Support

• Support the obtaining of regulatory licences across different jurisdictions, as well as compliance with ongoing regulatory obligations.
• Monitor relevant regulatory developments affecting the business.

Business Projects & Growth

• Participate in strategic projects, new product initiatives and market entry processes.
• Work very closely with the business, learning to provide practical, solution-oriented legal advice while balancing risk and commercial objectives.

What are we looking for?

• European-qualified lawyer.
• At least 4 years of professional experience, gained in a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal department, with solid experience in commercial contracts and corporate governance
  .
• Previous exposure to financial services regulation or regulatory matters is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Fluency in Spanish and English,
  both written and spoken.
• Strong interest in developing a long-term career in an international, business-driven environment.
• Sharp, agile thinker with strong judgement, able to quickly understand business needs and translate them into practical legal solutions.
• Hands-on, proactive and curious, with the ability to prioritise, take ownership and move matters forward autonomously.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build trust with business stakeholders.
