Job Mission

Bunzl Continental Europe is establishing an AI center of expertise, enabling our Operating Companies to explore, develop, and scale AI-driven solutions. This center of expertise will provide a structured framework for identifying high-impact (Gen)AI use cases and developing and testing prototypes for the different Operating Companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Innovative Solutions
  : Develop AI solutions from scratch, leveraging artificial intelligence to solve real-world business challenges.
• Integrate AI Across Businesses
  : Collaborate with Operating Companies within Bunzl Continental Europe to implement AI solutions.
• Be an AI Advocate and Trainer
  : Empower teams by training them on how to effectively use AI technologies, fostering innovation and skill development across the organization.
• Maintain and Enhance System
  s: Ensure current applications remain optimized, scalable, and aligned with modern technology standards.

Required Experience/Skills

• Education
  : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Languages:
  Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written). Additional languages are a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Experience in development using
  
• Proficiency in consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with general AI tools and concepts (preferred but not mandatory). A passion for learning and applying AI technologies is essential.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
• Proactive and passionate about driving technological innovation.
• Residency:
  Based in Spain, preferably Valencia or East Spain, or willing to travel to Valencia a few days per month as needed for in-person meetings or projects.
