WHAT YOU WILL DO

We are seeking an energetic and passionate
Senior Software Engineer
to join our fast-growing team in Spain. We are currently undergoing a transition to a new platform guided by Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles. You will be an integral part of one of our domain teams.

A TYPICAL DAY

• Collaborate closely with other frontend engineers to design, implement, and deploy frontend components for our product.
• Participate actively in code reviews, identifying and applying best practices for JavaScript
• Develop cost-effective solutions by deploying reusable capabilities, ensuring the product value is clear and justified, especially when addressing complex technical challenges.
• Play an active role in frontend-related recruitment activities, including interviewing and evaluating candidates.
• Serve as the focal point for the frontend guild.
• Collaborate with design, product, and business teams to iterate on the product using feature flags and experimentation.
• Establishing and managing Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for frontend systems.
• Drive the architectural vision for our front-end applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability by crafting and leading Architectural Design Reviews.
• Stay current with front-end technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continually enhance our development processes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Proficiency in Javascript (angular, React or Vue). Our stack includes: React + Next + Typescript + Graphql. Experience working with NX or monorepos is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of frontend developers.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Passion for building products that solve real-world problems and enhance user experiences.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to balance short-term solutions with long-term vision.
• Strong communication skills, collaboration abilities, adaptability, and a willingness to take initiative.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in a leadership role within a JavaScript development team (preferred).
• English speaking and writing skills.
• Team player.

  with one of our colleagues from the Talent Acquisition area, who will tell you everything about our company and its history, as well as the details of the position, functions and your future conditions. • Do we have a match? Let's move on to your
  First Technical Interview
  You will meet two of your future colleagues from the Software team, who will explain to you in more detail what the team's day-to-day life is and its responsibilities. They will be very interested in expanding information about their experience at CoverWallet.
• If everything has gone well and you have impressed our colleagues... we advance to the
  Second Technical Interview
  In line with the previous one, you will meet two other members of the Software team, who will continue to deepen your knowledge at the level of methodologies, roles and previous projects, as well as in relation to your background in our reference technological environments.
• If you've made it this far, things are getting interesting... It's time for your
  Final Interview
  In this case, you will have the opportunity to meet one of our VP of Engineering, who will close the selection process with an interview aimed at getting to know you not only on a professional and technical level, but also on a personal level, so that both of you can reach the conclusion of whether the purpose of our project fits with your professional aspirations.
