Role overview

We're looking for an experienced Android React Engineer to help us build and enhance world-class video streaming apps. You'll develop high-performance React Native applications integrating native components like authentication, video playback, and purchasing modules.

Your work will directly impact how users across the globe experience entertainment. You'll collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and DevOps teams to create beautifully responsive, scalable mobile solutions that set new standards in streaming technology.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain React Native applications focused on video consumption and interactivity.
  • Integrate native Android components such as authentication, video players, and purchasing systems.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with a focus on unit testing and performance optimization.
  • Work with RESTful APIs and implement efficient data caching strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, backend, product) to implement new features and improve UX.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously optimize mobile app performance.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices using Git and GitHub.

What you bring

  • Proven experience in React Native and Android development.
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript, React principles, and mobile app architecture.
  • Experience with video streaming apps and native integrations.
  • Strong background in unit testing, RESTful API usage, and state management.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, Git, and GitHub.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
