We are looking for a
Senior Consultant
with
4-8 years of professional experience
to join our Management Consulting Division.

In this role within our
modelling team
, you will have the opportunity to develop your business knowledge as well as technical and consulting skills by joining teams of varying sizes and diverse expertise depending on the project nature, including: developing tasks related to electricity and energy system modelling—such as power system analysis and least-cost optimization—using both commercial and proprietary software; conducting modelling activities for sectoral master plans, feasibility studies, market assessments, and strategy development; performing due diligence and cost-benefit analyses; and providing policy, regulatory, and transaction advisory services.

Responsibilities:

As Senior Consultant of our modelling team you will:

  • Serve as a senior expert on international assignments.
  • Lead modelling tasks and ensure the quality of deliverables.
  • Manage client communication and present project findings.
  • Enhance in-house power and energy system modelling solutions.
  • Contribute in building and training the modelling team.
  • Draft methodologies for international tenders and collaborate with other specialists to source private client projects.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience with power system simulation tools (i.e. PSSE, DIgSILENT).
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
  • High proficiency in both oral and written English.

Desirable Additional Skills:

  • Previous experience in power system planning.
  • Practical experience with PLEXOS Model.
  • Background in consulting.
  • Experience with optimization software (i.e. GAMS, MOSEL-XPRESS, GUROBI, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Python and machine learning.
  • Expertise in forecasting techniques (i.e. times series, statistical, AI, etc.)
  • Knowledge of market analysis and energy economics.
  • Additional language skills – other than Spanish – (preferably French, Russian or Arabic).
