Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Drive and optimize the test strategy and process within the team — you're the go-to person for all testing matters in an agile environment.

• Ensure test readiness across the board: from infrastructure to test data, you're in control of everything needed for smooth test execution.

• Take the lead on test automation, progressively expanding coverage for backend.

• Provide regular test progress updates to stakeholders and take ownership of the final test sign-off before go-live.

• Actively support the team and wider organization with Continuous Testing and Continuous Delivery practices.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and the full development life cycle.

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Kotlin

• Experience in building or maintaining automated testing frameworks like Serenity, Karate, TestNG, Cucumber.

• Good knowledge of Java / Kotlin , Serenity and working with REST APIs.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• ISTQB Certification is a strong plus.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin).

• Familiarity with testing tools and automation frameworks.

• Fluency in English (minimum B2 level or equivalent).

Soft skills:  

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• A true team player — comfortable collaborating with geographically distributed teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially in technical contexts.

• Highly organized with effective time management and task prioritization skills.

• Able to identify issues early and propose mitigation or contingency strategies.
