MSS Security is seeking casual Security Officers to support the protection and operational integrity of a nationally significant data centre in Truganina. This role provides the opportunity to contribute to the security of critical infrastructure, maintaining safety standards and operational continuity.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain focus and observe the activities associated with asset protection
  • Perform screening of all personnel entering premises 
  • Monitor CCTV footage and radio communication systems
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Enforce rules and bylaws, including moving people on where necessary
  • Perform incident reports and record occurrences where required 

Skills and experience

  • Must be an Australian citizen
  • Willing to obtain an NV1 security clearance if required
  • Certificate II in Security Operations
  • VIC security license and control room license (advantageous)
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Previous experience in a data centre environment is desirable but not required
  • First Aid & CPR
  • Drivers License
  • Availability to work a 24*7 rotating roster
